The RPSC RAS Prelims 2025 was held on February 2 from noon to 3 p.m. Out of 6.75 lakh registered candidates, 3.75 lakh appeared for the exam. As per Examination Instruction Point No. 11, 1,680 candidates were disqualified. The rule states that if a candidate leaves more than 10 percent of the questions or over 15 questions unanswered, they will be deemed ineligible.

Increase in RAS 2024 Recruitment Vacancies
RPSC has revised the number of vacancies for the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) 2024 recruitment exam. The total number of vacancies has been increased to 1,096, including 428 posts in state services and 668 in subordinate services.
The official notice states, “Regarding these posts, a corrigendum (number 21/2024-25) has been released with a revised category-wise classification for a total of 1,096 posts (state services – 428 and subordinate services – 668), as received from the personnel department (K-4/2).”
Initially, RPSC had announced 733 vacancies, with 346 allocated for state services and 387 for subordinate services. Candidates are advised to visit the official RPSC website for further details.
