    WestBridge Capital-backed Rapido to ride in with services to 500 cities, up from 120 now

    Rapido, backed by WestBridge Capital, plans to expand its operations from 120 to 500 cities, starting February, targeting initially Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Rajasthan. The startup, with 3.6 million daily rides, noted a 46% revenue increase in FY24. Eyeing quick commerce deliveries, it faces competition from Uber, Ola, and Google-backed Namma Yatri.
