Snapping its three-day losing run, gold rebounded to Rs 88,790 per 10 grams in the national capital on Tuesday amid firm global trends, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The precious metal of 99.9 per cent purity rose by Rs 40 to Rs 88,790 per 10 grams from the last close of Rs 88,750 per 10 grams.
However, silver prices declined by Rs 350 to Rs 98,900 per kg. The white metal had settled at Rs 99,250 per kg on Monday.

State-run insurer Life Insurance Corporation of India's (LIC) holding value in IndusInd bank eroded by Rs 894 crore on Tuesday amid a rout in the lender's share price which fell by 26% or Rs 237 per share to close the session at Rs 663.65 on the NSE.
LIC's stake in IndusInd Bank stood at 5.23% representing 3,77,37,210 shares as on December 31, 2024. The total value of its holding stood at Rs 2,504.42 crore on Tuesday's closing price.

IL&FS InvIT Roadstar Infra Investment Trust lists on NSE
Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL&FS) has listed the Roadstar Infra Investment Trust units on NSE on Tuesday as a part of its debt restructuring. The listing, which followed the distribution of InvIT at an enterprise valuation of Rs 8,592 crore, marks IL&FS Group's ability to effectively use diverse financial instruments for debt resolution, the company said in a statement.
With this infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) listing, IL&FS has achieved a significant breakthrough in its debt resolution journey, marked by a recent completion of interim distribution of Rs 5,000 crore to its creditors. This distribution comprised Rs 3,500 crore of InvIT units and Rs 1,500 crore in cash.

Coinbase registers with Indian financial watchdog to offer crypto trading services
U.S.-headquartered cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global has registered with India's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), allowing it to offer crypto trading services in the country, the company said on Tuesday.
