Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(down 15.49%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(down 1.77%) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 0.99%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 7.8 points up at 22552.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 7.51 points at 74332.58.
Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 3.33%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.7%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.51%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 1.49%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.38%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.36%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.13%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 0.98%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.85%) and Tata Steel Ltd.(up 0.75%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
