i think some complained about speed while others didnt may be due to the frames per second we have set on our screens? Food for thought

Okay so I installed it and played the game feels too fast and when jumping the jump happens so quickly I cant even make it to the other side. I feel like the game is playing at 5x the speed. Also when rendering a fight, sometimes the stats UI are bugged and show several stats overlapping which makes it impossible to tell your current stats or the monster's current stats.
I like the concept of the game and the music fits well, its just the bugs ruined the experience for me. Let me know if the html version runs better.
Thank you for your great feedback, I agree with all your suggestions and honestly most of them were planned but we just couldnt finish everything on time. We kept working till the last few minutes, unfortunately some bugs escaped us like the bubble not showing correctly if not played in Fullscreen. I think we might polish this after the results come out and incorporate more interactive music based on player danger.
Great game for a first and impressive work for the short time you had! I didn't like the use of limitation here; it would have been interesting maybe if the bad platforms had a slight variation in color or some scratches or any sort of indication so that we gain something valuable out of noticing them. Otherwise, it's just jump, jump, die, repeat.
The items you find are used passively on demand. Potion heals you if when you get hit and your health goes below 50%. The gem prevents you from dying to a killing blow. Both items go in cooldown and their timer would be visible on the icon. I wanted to add this description as a tooltip but didnt have the time 😁
This was a good attempt, but I feel you may have over scoped for this jam. Next time focus on one level and add sound effects to it. Maybe some music too, gives more life to the game. One more thing, lookout for different collisions and how they affect the gameplay. Level 3 the platform pushed me off the floating thing and I had to rush and jump back on in time.
I feel like we have been tricked into button mashing for no reason xD Props where its due the visuals and music are perfect, but I felt like no matter what we do in the initial mini game we either get full abilities or one golden orb and it just toggles between games. The leaderboard feature was a smart move, it kept me playing!
