It's a very interesting game that I feel really nails the difficulty, though I feel most of the difficulty comes from the way the game is controlled, and gets easier once you figure that out. I only encountered one secret though. Maybe the first secret should be easy to find to give you an idea to look for the rest?

Also, some of the sound effects were a bit too loud.

Best concept and presentation hands down! I love this SFX and how smooth the animation is! The idea of this game reminds me of daydreaming in class with my stationery tools making my own worlds! I loved this.

Great game! I love how simple, yet engaging the visuals are and the animations are so smooth :)

Everything in this game works together really well to create a calm, relaxing game.

It's hard to figure out the movement but it gets interesting when you do!

The art and the music are also good, well done!

Submitted(+1)

Really cute, and you definitely nailed the movement.  I was momentarily confused by the control keys, but once you see how they work, the choice makes perfect sense.

I got through the whole thing and then saw "0 secrets," so of course I had to play it again to find the chocolates.  Great job!

Thank you! I’m honored that you would play it a 2nd time for the secrets!!

Loved it!

Thank you!

I love it. The vibe, art, and OST, perfection. However, the controls are very strange. QWOP?  WASD or mouse + shift could be some examples of better control systems. I'll get back to the game soon and try to get better. But good job!

Developer

Heh heh, thank you for the suggestions! The QWOP gives independent movement to both oars, but in retrospect I should have allowed WASD as an option :^D

The music is so calming and the notebook just makes this feel so alive!

I was correct when i did say it looked hard to control but it adds to it so its fine

Developer

Heh heh, thank you! I was inspired by the brain-bending movement in UFO 50‘s Mooncat, and I’m glad it added to the experience!

I like the music and the minimalistic notebook aesthetics, very cute. The boat takes a bit to get used to but it's pretty fun to manouver in the levels. Only wish there was a way to lower the music volume as its a bit loud...

Also, nice little secret reward at the end, pretty neat addition lol

Developer

Thanks!! You’re certainly right about the music, I’ll pay more attention to audio my next time around.

Love the visuals and feel of the game. Boat is nice and difficult to control haha Sounds could use some mixing/mastering, for my tastes the music was a bit too loud.

Developer

You’re right, audio isn’t my strong suit but I’ll pay more attention to it next time. Thanks!

This is perfect!
The only issue for me is that you can't play in fullscreen mode

Developer

Thank you! I’ll learn how to do fullscreen for my next one, thank you for the suggestion!

This is adorable and made me feel so nostalgic!  love the relaxing music and the game is super fun!

Developer

Ahh thank you! I was aiming for a nostalgic, “old Flash game” feel, so that is good to hear!

Ha it is actually so fun!

Thank you!!
