I gave it another try, it worked! This game is insanely difficult for me, but very stylish. I feel like the green monster is the best starter, due to its attack power. The whole game has strong Pokemon vibes and that’s a good thing, I think. Thanks for going the extra mile and making a web build!

The graphics on this are amazing. Did you capture photographs of real paper and use those as the assets?

Along with that, great concept! Like others have said, some sound or music would have added to the atmosphere, but the game is still VERY stylish. Great job.

The concept is awesome, turning into a toy to fight other toys. A great premise for a Slay the Spire-like deck game. The drawings are high quality and cute! Sounds/music and animation leave something to be desired, so maybe that is something to focus on for next time.

This is a VERY fun and VERY polished game. Incredible. And the puzzles are fun to figure out, and they introduce concepts at a digestible rate. I give it 5 stars in everything. Good job.

This is a fun and stylish Where’s Waldo type game! I admit I couldn’t find the glasses. But, I chuckled quite a few times due to several things: the crocodile wearing the hat, Lenny’s face, the monkey in the teepee. All around great job!

I beat the game. I love this concept, great job! I searched for the secret but I always ran out of moves TT_TT Nice work!

I couldn’t run the game, because it said their should be a *.pck file along with the executable for this Godot game. If you can upload the *.pck, I will try again!

Gave me MAJOR wolfenstein 3D nostalgia. Very cool. The framerate got a bit chunky on level 2, i’m very curious what caused it. But other than that, great job!

Thank you! I’m honored that you would play it a 2nd time for the secrets!!

Heh heh, thank you for the suggestions! The QWOP gives independent movement to both oars, but in retrospect I should have allowed WASD as an option :^D

Thank you!

Thank you!

Heh heh, thank you! I was inspired by the brain-bending movement in UFO 50‘s Mooncat, and I’m glad it added to the experience!

Thanks!! You’re certainly right about the music, I’ll pay more attention to audio my next time around.

You’re right, audio isn’t my strong suit but I’ll pay more attention to it next time. Thanks!

Thank you! I’ll learn how to do fullscreen for my next one, thank you for the suggestion!

Ahh thank you! I was aiming for a nostalgic, “old Flash game” feel, so that is good to hear!

Thank you!!

I gave it one last shot, this time spamming Left Click to skip the dialogue. And it worked! Beautiful game with a beautiful story. I’m sad that this won’t get many plays because it doesn’t have a web version, but you guys outdid yourselves. Awesome job. Shocking that you made this in only 3 days.

I tried again just now, same result. I’m not sure tbh. Sometimes the last dialogue box doesn’t want to close :’^D Maybe that is affecting the next cutscene. I’m honestly not sure

I’ll wait for someone else to play and see if they have a similar experience!

I beat the game :) The graffiti messages on the wall made it kinda cinematic. Cool stuff!

I love the art style. Papercraft enemies and characters was a great idea. The game froze on me after the first battle, but it’s probably because I tried to run on Linux using Wine. So, I can’t give an honest rating since it was probably a technical issue on my end.

As far as graphical style goes, you’ve got an amazing thing here. I would recommend some visual effects during the battle so it’s easier to see what the enemies are doing. But great job in the allotted time of the jam!

Ok, eventually i did get softlocked. I am in love with the aesthetic of this game, though. Here’s where I got froze: screenshot

Oh my god. This is gorgeous. But, for some reason I get soft-locked at the end of the first dialogue. I really want to play the rest of it, because it looks so good. Here’s where I get stuck: — NEVERMIND, sorry I just tried and didn’t realize I had to start controlling the characters. I’ll play the rest :)

Made it to 2725. Love the art style, but the gameplay could benefit from some extra spice or variety. Still, nice job in the allotted time!

I tried to interact with those question marks, but it kept saying “not ready yet” or something similar. So I ended with 0 secrets collected unfortunately

Great puzzle game! I am now conscious of my severe weakness in making squares out of triangles. Great concept, and nice work.

Loved the concept and art style! I beat the game. It was super cute. The little music playing mouse in the bush :’^D The lampposts were a cool bit of scenery too.

Cute little stealth game :D nice work!

Loved it. Excellent job! I really struggled with some of the longer jumps, but I got to the end. Also love how the wall breaks apart and music fades out at the end.

135 :D Fun little game!

Loved this. Fun and very cute! Thank goodness for those star powerups, and I liked the secret key room. I beat the game with 2930 points!

I like the style of the game! And the ingredient collecting is fun. But, unfortunately it had an error when I tried to brew a potion – Could not find “sprites/bottle.png” If you find a way to fix the error, I’ll try playing it again

Crazy good atmosphere. I only had time to play it a bit, but the inspiration from Yume Nikki is apparent. I got wiped out by the CRAZPUNCH. Nice job!

Good game! Highest I could get was 730. Nice job of letting tough challenges emerge from deceptively simple rules (spawning of water elementals).

Awesome game! I like how different spells affect the enemies in different ways. I accidentally enlarged a slime on more than one occasion. Thanks for your hard work.

Nice little game! I survived for about 3 minutes then got snuck up on by a blob!

The visuals are so good. I love sandbox games, where it seems you can fly around and help wherever you want without a particular goal. I tried my best to help this one village in the south, but Mr. Evil Wizard kept thwarting me :D

Nice work. The graphics have Minecraft vibes to me :D

Cool idea making a youtube-themed game! I was confused about the alert boxes until… Why’d you have to jump scare me like that TT_TT
