More of a walking simulator than a game. The game is visually beautiful and the UI is GREAT, but the character's design feels a bit forced to be original, like, rather than having some iconic features, it has a bunch of not-so iconic features. Just a nitpick. The voice acting is fine, too, but a bit cringe.
Overall, it's a good effort, but could be better.
The voice acting adds some nice humor, and the game has good graphics, but I think the graphics are too good because the game ran at 1fps, and there wasn't much gameplay.
It's pretty neat visually, but not much of a game, as I don't really feel I did anything. I was hoping you would at least have to arrange the notes to find the secret phrase.
Thanks for playing!:) Now we have the basics down I'm looking forward to adding more features in the next jam 😄
The voice acting is superb! I like the chill music and smooth SFXs. The pause before combining the pages then saying the secret phrase was funny. I enjoyed the experience but I didnt feel like I was playing as much as I was just walking. Great work overall.
Thanks so much for playing! 🥹 I would’ve loved to add some puzzles or platforming to get to the scrolls/open the gate - next jam for sure!:)
