Nice and simple game, good job!

With a bit of rebalance and bug fixes it could be really fun to play

E.g. free shot buff is too op imo, I just spammed bullets and won easy. Black hole seems to do too much killing too.

Added to collections!
When I'm close to loosing I'm sort of get the sense of "Well, I'll loose anyway, why stressing about it at this point". Thus I calm myself and my focus raises =D

Oh yeah, now I found how to zoom, my bad ^^'.

And yeah, this zoom limit is not enough for me as I'm a big lover of a really high bird view XD

The bug doesn't happen right away, but it appears after ~5 minutes of playing pretty consistently

Great to hear!

And I did enjoy it! Played like 5 times. I increased the difficulty (awesome feature btw) and ended somewhat like in round 4 killing an enoooourmosly long line of bugs critically close to finishing line ^^' XD

(1 edit)

So I guess there's a bug in the game which allows to spam trees wherever

(trying to upload a screenshot, not sure if it'll work)

Upd

Oh, nvm 2. it's actually works this way =D

Nice one! I'm a touch typer myself and enjot typing games.

Some feedback:

1. It's a bit inconvenient that typed text is shown only at the bottom. I wish I could see it under the bugs word which I'm trying to type. This way I can control what I type better

2. Hit Enter to erase typed letters.  If I'm trying to kill a long-word bug and fail I have to spend extra time on erasing what I typed

Hey I made a strategy game too!

Very cool tower defence! I love graphics music and overall game feel. Very smooth and pleasant.

Some feedback:

1. It's a bit tedious to navigate the map. I'd appreciate having a camera zoom by mouse scroll

2. Difficulty curve is descent for the first 5-7 minutes. But than as soon as I stabilised all attack directions, I could simply spam my forest around portals and knock them out one by one. That felt imbalanced, I would be glad to have more challenge

I really like this game and I would play it again!

Nice polished game!

Gameplay seems to be too random. The only win strategy I figured out is for "Lowest score wins" modified - just pick 5 same cards

The game senses the aura emitting from the dev team gathered in one post.

Yes, pressing that button did help! A bit weird though. I want to clarify that controller worked without that button the first time.  But I needed to press it specifically to make aiming work

Thanks for playing!

Omg that typo was made minutes before the jam finished and now I can't do anything with it  (╥_╥)  XD

To place or pickup your crew you have to fly close enough to a drop/pickup point. If you're too far, the game creates drop/pickup markers which will trigger drop or pickup as you fly closer. I agree this wasn't communicated in tutorial, my bad. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, the intensity is pressing ^^' I can't beat the game myself, always dying to the boss

Nah, right stick doesn't work for me. I'm on Macos using PS5 gamepad

Nice enjoyable and relaxing game. Good execution!

By the end of the level I wanted some other types of enemies to appear for further gameplay development.

Also some level-up choices are senseless. Like what would I choose :+10 damage all or +40 damage all?  Or +10 damage r-launcher or +25 damage all?

But that's just my feedback, aside which I really enjoyed playing!

Just had a look at your itch page. Is this your first game?

Double respect 💪

This was brutal.

Clever game design! I love its strategic nature. Killing knocked out creatures make you play more accurate, which is also cool. Can't spam the hit button ^^'

What I didn't enjoy a lot is the rigid attack direction. Why not make it simply hit the direction you move? Or is it a bug?

Other than that I loved this game, great job!

Very fun and funny game! Nice job devs!

Fun game with dope art!
I wish it oI really op set up at the beginning and it wasn't challenging at all, but overall 10/10

Nice one! Once more time I'm convinced that even simplest story can add a lot to engagement. Very cool!

thanks!

Cool and addictive, nice job!

Loved it! One more game about stabbing stuff XD

Thanks! We're glad you liked it =)
Yeah, this build is buggy. We tried to add more stuff hours before jam end and didn't test it properly =(

But we're going to continue developing this project if you're interested in such games!

Hey! Very cool game!

I left a comment on the game's page, so no more words.

I beat the game. The ending is kinda cruel and tragic. So there will be another ending if I don't kill anyone?

This. Is. Just. Awesome!!!
I saved your entry when I saw it on discord. Increadible game, honestly I think you got all chances to win the jam!

Art, theme, gameplay, humor, music (omg music, thank you!) - all 10/10

Due to game's "spacial" nature I sometimes messed up with controls and pressed wrong button only to realize that I failed all my effort during previous 3 minutes. Would be nice to be able to hit space and cancel the jump in such moments.

Whoa a roguelike! That's cool.  I played for like 12 minutes and can't say much rather than it's a nice game. I dig soundtracks!

Visuals are nice too, but a bit too noisy for my eye.

Gameplay is pretty smooth and fun. I like visual hit impact on enemies but a bit lacked some sound effect, that would really add to the impact feeling.

Rooms feel a bit too large a mostly empty. Traversing them for the second time becomes a bit tedious but that's not a big deal. Although being able to teleport among cleaned rooms would be nice.

Overall, it's a nice fun game, good job!

Very nice game! Good job! I like its simple style and mechanics. The cat is very cute and even explodes in a cute way, haha.

For feedback:

1. Levels felt a bit tedious. Certain challenges weren't too hard but I've mistaken a lot due to level length. I would appreciate having a lot of checkpoints with limited ilfes or levels being shorter. I think I reached level 5 or 6 where you make a lot of really stretched jumps in the beginning. I didn't finish the game =(

2. Maybe you made it intentionally but as a platformer lover and maker myself I couldn't ignore the fact that there is no coyote jump at all.

3. In mentioned earlier last level for me game started lagging and even seemed to behave not consistently. Or I just suck at those jumps.

Let's do it!

The web build definitely can use some optimizing. I played to the moment a second in game took like 6 real seconds. Cannot play pc build on my Mac

Woah, this game stole me for a 3 hours. Amazing one!

The game seems very cool, I'm gonna try another run

But rn after failing I got this:

Unhandled Exception - Uncaught { message : "Unable to find any instance for object index '18' name 'objCityCarUpgrade'", longMessage : "Unable to find any instance for object index '18' name 'objCityCarUpgrade'", stacktrace : [ "function _W2("Unable to find any instance for object index '18' name 'objCityCarUpgrade'")

nice game, turning all the bullets into yours is fun

It works fine in Safari!

1. Very cool concept of using shadow mechanic, how smart! (a bit of bragging here, huh)

2. You used the concept as we did but the execution is just awesome, well done! I was really struggling to find a good realisation of the idea, and it also was kinda hard to organise all that was happening on the stage and on the shadow screen to make it clean and readable

3. The game blows my brain,  very cool challenge

Good job with this one! It was cool to recognise you when I looked at your page

I like the idea of combining parts and assembling powerful machine. The game lacks some tactical variety as there is not very much you can do on a battlefield besides movement.

But overall very cool entry. The concept can be developed in many directions (have you thought of Backpack Hero?)

Hello! The game seems amazing, but shadow screen just doesn't work for me. As you can see there is no cactus shadow.
And it appears our game has a brother =)

Thanks! Yeah, we thought about using more realistic lighting, but chose not to risk and go an easier path

Wow, that's inspiring, thank you!
