The art is nice and the gameplay is pretty good, if a bit simple currently. The sprites disappearing when damaged is kind of confusing though.

The speech bubbles don't really work very well currently, as since they're static, it's possible for the player to move and the speech bubbles no longer look correct. The first speech bubble also doesn't seem to be placed correctly relative to the player. I also feel the font doesn't really work with the aesthetic of the game.

The way the cooldown for the items is shown also doesn't really look at home with the theme, and perhaps a more simple way to show the cooldown like a bar that fills might fit better?

They're all very minor aesthetic issues, but I feel improving them will greatly enhance the experience.

Thank you for your great feedback, I agree with all your suggestions and honestly most of them were planned but we just couldnt finish everything on time. We kept working till the last few minutes, unfortunately some bugs escaped us like the bubble not showing correctly if not played in Fullscreen. I think we might polish this after the results come out and incorporate more interactive music based on player danger.

I suspected playing in fullscreen might place the first speech bubble correctly, since I could barely see it when not in fullscreen, but I think it was still in the wrong spot for me, though it might just be my screen's resolution. Fortunately it's a very minor bug so it didn't take too much away from the experience.
