Use of the limitation
To align with the mandatory limitation of Flipping a coin as a mechanic, the coins in the game represent offerings to the fox for her cultivation. When the player successfully hits a note in rhythm, the corresponding coin flips as a visual and auditory indicator of success. The flipped coins are then collected and added to the fox's cultivation progress. The more coins flipped and accumulated, the higher the player's score, emphasizing the mechanic's importance in both gameplay feedback and progression.

I like seeing rhythm games around here!
What a lovely little rhythm game. Beautiful presentation and beautiful music, love the write up providing the historical context for the Chinese folk tale. Great work by everyone involved!
I had a bit of trouble clicking the coins at times, that could have just been me though. I also didn't expect tails to be added as quickly as they did, which made things more interesting.
:( sorry, once i start the game i get a black screen as well just like another person in the comment ! i would have loved the play the game otherwise ♡
good luck in the jam !
What an awesome experience, I really found this to be super fun and the rhythm is spot on with the coins. Definitely played this a few times to improve my score! Also nice to learn a little about chinese traditions too! Great job!
This is a really nice game! The challenge ramps up in a pretty consistent way, it reminds me a bit of the arcade rhythm game Maimai. The fox is very cute as well, great job!
Thank you for checking it out! We are glad you like it!!
Hahaha it was delighting to find the Chinese tale of the nine-tailed fox here! ^ ^ Great music and visuals, with a fun twist on the classical rhythm game mechanic.
Have a prosperous lunisolar new year of the Snake!
Thank you so much for your support! Wishing you a Happy Chinese New Year! 🎉🐍
Nice work!! I really liked how more instruments got added in accordance with the tails, it's a cute touch that works great with the theme (having the notes be coins that are flipped when hit was a GREAT way to incorporate the limitation too). It's a nice song, the art was really good, and I couldn't find any bugs, great job to the whole team on this one!
Score split ended up being
13-142-17
(I'm not too good with mouse based rhythm games aha)
Thank you for playing! We’re all so happy that you enjoyed our game! Your score is already very impressive! We’ll definitely work on improving the controls in future if have time.
Cool game! The music and art are great! I really liked how the game grew in difficulty as it went on; it added a fun level of challenge. Good job! :D
Thank you for your support! Yes, increasing the difficulty as the game progresses was a key aspect we focused on. We’re glad you enjoyed it!
Nice game! I don't expect if there is rhythm game on this jam lol, I like it
The art is so cute and adorable, and kind a difficult to using mouse, luckily I using my laptop that can touch screen lol (But still miss.) Also I really like the song!
Thank you for your support! We’ve also noticed that using the mouse isn’t very smooth, but we’re glad you enjoyed our game!
This game is very fun! I really enjoyed it. The music is great, and the art is very cute. Really, really good job to the team. Also, if anyone can’t run the game past the title screen, try switching browsers. I switched to Edge and it worked.
Thank you so much for your support and information! During my playtests, I used Chrome as the browser. Could you let me know which browser you were using when the issue occurred?
I was using Chrome when the issue occurred. I switched to Edge, and the issue stopped. As far as I’m aware, they are both based on Chromium, so it’s probably some browser configuration problem.
I’m not sure why these issues are happening yet, but thank you so much for sharing this information!
Unfortunately, it doesn't run any further than the home screen.
Could you provide more details about the issue? For example, does nothing happen when you click "Start"?
I press "Start", a ukulele ding, and a black screen.
Are you using Chrome as your browser? I didn't encounter any issues with Chrome, but it seems some people have trouble opening the game with it. Could you try using edge and let me know if it works?
I use yandex browser but it's the same on chrome and eage
We're not sure what is causing these issues, but thank you so much for sharing this information!
Very fun, love the fox art! Great job!
Thank you very much!!
Incredibly charming, and the fox is super cute too!

HOW DO I PLAY THIS PLEASE THE GAME DOESNT WORKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
You click the coins when they line up with the fox's tail
Yes, please click the coin when it reaches the glowing circle on the tail. Or are you experiencing any technical issues, like being unable to open the game?
Wow, super nice graphics and great concept! Not a game for trackpad LOL
Thank you for your feedback! Based on suggestions from others, we plan to update the game to use the keyboard for smoother gameplay. We appreciate your support!
Very nice! The concept kinda reminds me a bit of OSU with the mixture of rhythm and precision with the mouse, overall had a pretty good time trying it out!
Thank you for your support! We're all so happy to see that you like our concept!
