Kunal Kamra mocks Bhavish Aggarwal's 'Kya Chal Raha Hai' initiative

    Synopsis

Comedian Kunal Kamra took to X to mock the initiative, which requires employees across all of Aggarwal’s companies to submit weekly reports outlining their achievements, similar to what Elon Musk implemented for US federal employees.

Ola Group founder Bhavish Aggarwal and comedian Kunal Kamra have once again found themselves at the centre of an X (formerly Twitter) banter, this time over Aggarwal's new "Kya Chal Raha Hai" initiative, which some believe may be inspired by Elon Musk.

Kamra took to X to mock the initiative, which requires employees across all of Aggarwal’s companies to submit weekly reports detailing their accomplishments.

    What Kunal Kamra said

In his post, Kamra shared this hypothetical exchange:

Bhavish Aggarwal – "Kya Chal Raha Hai?"
Customer – "Aapki Scooter Nahi Chal Rahi" (Your scooter isn’t working)
    Growfast
Bhavish Aggarwal – "Kya Chal Raha Hai?"

      ‘Kya Chal Raha Hai?’

The initiative, as described in an internal email, asks employees to send a brief weekly email summarising the tasks they’ve completed, with three to five bullet points. These reports are to be submitted to both their managers and a designated company email, without fail.

Elon Musk, in his role at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), recently introduced similar weekly reports for US federal employees. Aggarwal, who has previously cited Musk as an inspiration, has drawn comparisons between himself and the tech billionaire.

This isn't the first time Kamra has taken a jab at Aggarwal. In November last year, he mocked the Ola CEO, highlighting unresolved customer complaints that even led to a drop in Ola’s stock.

      Social media reactions

One user remarked, “He calls himself OLAN Musk,” poking fun at Aggarwal.

Meanwhile, another user criticised Kamra, saying, “Find some work Kunal.”
