We're less than a week away from the second National Lab Research SLAM event! Finalists from each of the 17 U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratories will present engaging 3-minute talks on their cutting-edge research to a panel of esteemed judges. INL’s own Eugene Engmann Jnr will be presenting as part of the Energy Security category on how electrochemical symptoms can help diagnose battery health. He is working towards finding a way to use less chemicals and less energy in getting critical materials from nonconventional resources. Stream the event live on March 5 from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. EST ➡️ https://brnw.ch/21wR1Zk Learn more about Eugene's research ➡️ https://brnw.ch/21wR1Zj #NLSLAM25 #NationalLabSLAM #NationalLabs #INL #CriticalMaterials #energySecurity #Research

As this year comes to a close, on behalf of Early Career Researchers Association (ECRA), I extend my warmest wishes to everyone for a joyful and restful holiday season. This year has been filled with growth, challenges and incredible achievements. I am proud to see how far ECRA has come from an idea to a sustainable organization within INL focused on the success of early-career researchers. 👏 This would not have been possible without the dedication, hard work and passion of fellow early career researchers. 👏 I hope you all take some time to recharge, celebrate your successes and reflect on the exciting possibilities ahead. I look forward to continuing to lead this remarkable team into another year of collaboration, learning and making meaningful strides in our field through grassroots efforts. Happy holidays! 🎉 🎉 Best wishes, Ishita Trivedi, ECRA Chair (2024-2025) Meet the FY25 ECRA leadership team - Casey Icenhour Casey Icenhour Himani Mishra Elizabeth Worsham Alexandra Raichart Parikshit Bajpai
