Last week, our new oncologist, Dr. Chad Pedersen, conducted our hospital’s first bone biopsy. He’s an amazing addition to our team, bringing outstanding skills to the table while putting patients first. He and our new cancer treatment program will help provide comprehensive cancer care and support close to home.
Kelly Just from Make-a-Wish visited our facility to provide information on how providers can recommend children in need of wishes to this program. Dr. Sarah Israelson joined Kelly for a photo with a book provided by Make-a-Wish. Thank you to Make-A-Wish North Dakota for the important work they do across North Dakota!

Nurses Reba and Ronice underwent training with Alexander Vang in ultrasound-guided IV placement, a technique that greatly improves IV placement and minimizes patient discomfort.

Last Wednesday we held our Annual Resident Christmas Party and Angel Tree Lighting! Thank you to everyone who adopted our residents. ❤️ The gifts filled our Activity Room, and the hearts of all of us to see the immense generosity of so many people in our community. Special thanks to Linda Perry for baking over 1,200 cookies for the event and to Caroline Schwartz for leading our Christmas sing-a-long. It was a magical day for each resident!
