Things were getting out of hand at the San Antonio munitions facility, so management ordered one of them newfangled groundskeeping robots. The box said it was good for all landscaping needs, with dozens of handy accessories (sold separately). But Pablo found out it was good for a lot more when he filled the tank with bullets. Now that thing keeps those tin pests away like no one's business! And it's a good thing too, because there seems to be more of 'em by the hour! How long will Little Iron last?

I really liked it. It's simple, but it hooks you effectively since you're constantly facing hordes of enemies. One detail I really appreciated is the idea of having health and ammo share the same resource. This adds an interesting strategic layer, as managing both becomes essential for survival.
I also liked that, as the game progresses, the new enemies forced me to rethink my strategies. This shift in difficulty and the need to adapt adds a good level of challenge.
One downside is that, at the beginning, the game can be frustrating if you run out of ammo. In these moments, the only thing you can do is wait to get killed. A possible solution could be to add a mechanic where, if you run out of ammo and there aren't enough in the scene, they randomly drop so you can collect them with the vacuum. This would allow you to keep playing without getting stuck due to a lack of ammo.
That said, it's a very well-done game, especially considering it's part of a game jam. It has a solid, dynamic, and challenging design. It's easy to get hooked. Great job!
Gameplay is pretty fun! Love the action based gameplay of dodging bullets and shooting or slaming into enemies.
Would love more variety of enemies, but it's a great game to be accomplished in 2 weeks congrats!!
That was fun! worked really well for me, and was that something like a Wilhelm scream I heard there? hehe c:
The dash is satisfying, attaching two guns was a great moment for me, i like how the lighting changes to accompany the change of time it really helps sell the wild west aesthetic. the enemies were super charming i love the legs on the bullets and the sounds of the bigger sheriff wheely guy had me laughing. one thing i was a little confused about if i just had lost or not when i used up all my ammo because it didnt seem like there was any on the field to suck up, and if thats the case maybe i should of just exploded on the spot instead of living in purgatory.
Just a super charming game! The wild west aesthetic was a great fit and made the game really feel cohesive. Gameplay feels great and very unique. Great work!
Wow this game kind of blew me away at first. Love love love the concept. gameplay was tight, cowboy sound effects and theme was nailed. the guns sound great. loved when the bullets clicked against the ground. It did feel a bit like a downgrade when I went from shotguns to snipers. I feel like they should've done like 10 or even 15 dmg instead of just 5. There also doesn't really seem to be a downside to just always having your vacuum on, maybe a stamina bar for suction would give players a reason to not just hold it down forever. Also maybe I just missed it but i have no idea what the power ups/passive buffs did. I was just having fun dashing around and shooting things. All just suggestion I still had a blast. Great game!
