Agreed. There is definitely a lot of balancing issues in the game, as well as a goal that is unclear to the user, partially because of the balancing issues. There was also a bit of scope creep. I put a restriction on myself to not edit the GDD after I started coding (because I did a lot of that previous jams and it made it feel like the GDD didn't do what it's intended to do), and I think that made the game suffer a fair bit in certain ways because I couldn't tweak some design choices (due to the restriction). Another restriction I had was to make them game on macOS which meant a lot of time was spent just battling the compiler to make sure I can still support Windows and Web, time that could otherwise be spent on the rest of the game. Tutorial and balancing is definitely top priority for post jam development though.

Love the sound effects. Interesting story telling as well setting the plot for the game. Wish I didn't buy a 60% keyboard so I could play this more with its current control scheme. Nonetheless, great game, would definitely buy this if it was on Steam.

Thank you for trying my game. Something I really noticed when making this is that making an intuitive progression is hard especially when you don't make tutorials. Seeing you're not the first to mention the confusing gameplay loop it's really something I need to practice during future jams. As for the fullscreen, the game itself is 640x360, which I then integer scale to the highest possible resolution. I've been developing and testing this on either 2K or 4K monitor, so anything below 1280p becomes really hard to see. That's why I opted to scaling it to fit the monitor. If I were to continue working on this, there would be resolution options though.

Very fun and interesting game. Takes a bit to get used to. Apparently you start playing by clicking the chair. Took me a while to get the hang of that, the hitbox for the chair does need some working on, but as long as you don't stand directly up against it, it's pretty reliable. Gameplay itself, very refreshing, haven't played grapple games in at least 10-20 years, and this one honestly does it very well. Easy to learn, harder to master. I sense some very personal experiences has lead to the idea behind this game. And that being the case genuinely makes for an incredibly good experience for the player. Would strongly recommend giving this a try.
