Hello,

I had been using a Jav-It.bat that I put in my jav movies file folder "D:\Jav", and I had edited to reference program location "D:\Jav-It" and jav movie files location "D:\Jav"

So I took a look at the cataloging output and noticed:

[WARN] No subtitle definitions file...

[WARN]  No dictionary...

I moved the subtitle.mod and dictionary.xml files from the "D:\Jav-It" program folder to my jav files folder "D:\Jav" and these warnings went away and I found some .SRT subtitles for my collection.

It's working now for me, but I'm not sure if this is your intended approach as I believe I read the instruction as to put the subtitle.mod file in the Jav-It program folder.

Thanks!

Hello

I am hoping to use Jav-It to download subtitles and perhaps be a Patreon supporter.  However I can't get it working with Jav-It 1.7.13 and the version 1 subtitle.mod file that I have placed in the program folder as such:

I have yet to see any subtitle files downloaded for any titles in my collection that spans titles since ~2013.  I understand the subtitle.mod is a non Patreon version and is not updated with the latest titles, however I would have thought that some of my titles would have subtitles available.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?  This is my command line and switches:

d:\jav-it\jav-it.exe catalog /force-update /no-trailer /no-actresses /tag-subtitles /language:english /video-naming-method:original /d d:\jav

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Thank you!  The update appears to have fixed the issue!

I'm using Jav-It version 1.7.11 and most of my movie .nfo files are showing the genre text in Japanese language.

I've tried using /language:english and it doesn't work.  I've also tried /no-translation

The interesting thing is that I tried using the GUI mode and the genres show in English!  But as I understand it, I have limited/no control about the folder naming structure using the GUI.

Any ideas how to report the genres in English?

Thanks

Hello!  I just purchased and downloaded Jav-It v1.7.7 and it says "/directory-naming-format:       Unsupported in this version of Jav-It"

I'd really like to have my folders organized by DVD_ID.  Ami I missing something here?
