What concept is there that is more appealing than to flee from society and live in a remote cabin in the woods? I've thought about this a lot. So this game was very appealing to me. I really liked the simple way in which you portrayed this concept and it was actually really relaxing to play! The cabin looks nice and warm too :) The game just stopped at a certain point when I went to get some wood (for the 3rd time I think?), and I got a gray screen, so I assume that's the ending or a bug? Anyway, good job on making this game, I enjoyed it!

It was the main inspiration. I love the Beginner's Guide and the House of Chores level is one of my favorite parts of the game, being what I view as the pure essence of a cozy game.
Wow yeah, that was the first thing I thought about when playing this game! For some reason, this scene from the Beginners Guide has stuck around in my brain for a long time. I loved it, as I did with this game!
