https://rb.gy/wqvzy4 The American Cannabis Bankers Association and the EmergingMarketsCoalition (EMC) stand behind the decision to reschedule cannabis to Schedule 3, but ONLY as an interim stopgap measure. De-scheduling is the true 'next step', but even that falls short of Congress finally passing legislation through SAFE or SAFER that truly protects participants and intermediaries in the cannabis and banking industries. However, in the meantime, any movement forward is just that...movement FORWARD. Once this is passed, medical and scientific research can uncover more insights into the benefits, risks and opportunities associated with cannabis. We urge everyone to reach out to their political representatives in Congress to urge them to tackle this strong bi-partisan issue.
