We rebranded Foot Locker visual identity. Foot Locker’s current logo features an employee styled as a referee. The iconic stripes, representing strength, speed, and energy, are perfect for a sports brand. However, through research, we discovered that Foot Locker has evolved into a lifestyle brand, helping individuals express their identity through fashion. We identified their core values as movement, energy, personality, authenticity, culture, diversity, community, and inclusivity. To reflect this, we retained the stripes but made them more dynamic, symbolizing movement and energy. The redesigned stripes follow various paths, representing diversity and inclusivity while maintaining a unified look. The new stripes not only symbolize movement and energy but also develop their own authentic personality. They promote diversity, culture, and inclusivity as they follow different directions and are uniquely characterized by their shape and form, yet still unified in one shape. Along with the refreshed visual identity, we imagined a campaign to promote sports and casual footwear. Targeting a diverse audience, the campaign headline “Your Journey, Your Story” aims to create an emotional connection. It emphasizes that Foot Locker supports every step of their journey, helping them build their own identity through fashion.
