Today, we welcomed some of the country’s top scientists to Brookhaven Lab for the 1,000 Scientist AI Jam Session! This first-of-its-kind event, which is a partnership between nine U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) #NationalLabs and OpenAI, explores how #AI can accelerate scientific discovery. Participants received access to leading frontier AI models, including OpenAI’s o3-mini, to test research applications, evaluate model responses, and contribute data to improve future AI systems.
