Raised on a down home blend of Johnny Cash, Jack London, Sherlock Holmes, the Steelers, and all things small town, Rebecca feels blessed to have grown up in a close knit, fun loving and artistic family. Her mother, a voracious reader and scratch cook, and her father, an entrepreneur, English teacher and lover of literature, taught Rebecca and her brother to work hard, aim for the stars, and live life.

In any romance, along with passion and intrigue, I like sprinkling in humor and some tears, along with flawed characters, because I feel like people can relate. I love to cheer for the underdog!

It's very gratifying to know I've entertained a reader for an hour, or even a few minutes. Knowing he or she could escape into the world I created, and spend some time with the characters born of my imagination, and perhaps while away the time before a doctor's appointment, a delayed flight, or a child's soccer practice, makes me feel like I've truly succeeded as a writer.(less)

“I glanced up at Zay, then walked over to stand next to him.
"You look good with a baby in your arms," he murmured.

I'd lost. Startled, I looked up at him. "Two out of three?"
Zay grinned. So did I.”
