Michael Reit answered Russ's question: Whatever happened to Jacob? He's mentioned a few times in Tracks to Freedom. Then Agnes meets Joel and Jacob is never mentioned again. It's like he never existed. Hi Russ! Thanks for reading Tracks to Freedom. Jacob's story is covered in Beyond the Tracks, the first book of the series, although they can be read out of order.
