So I was meaning to make this journal a little earlier, but I've been pretty busy. In a good way!

Wow, 1000 page views! In the grand scheme of things, it really isn't that much, but I'm so grateful to everyone who made it possible and encouraged me along the way. It's actually been a pretty great last couple of weeks, if I say so myself.

My birthday was on the 3rd, big ol' 1-9. Perfect timing with that, finally came down to visit Austin for over a week! We had a lot of fun, and I hope I did a good enough job showing him around the Austin area. He flew down from AC, and even brought me a commissioned picture as a welcome gift, it is adorable ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24165626/ ). We went swimming quite a bit, he took me climbing, we had dinner at my restaurant, and we also went to the Alamo Drafthouse to see Baby Driver (which is an amazing movie, by the way). He also had quite a bit of fun pointing out how weird America is... "Free Refills on soda everywhere??" We also spent a hefty amount of time with when we went to the Texas State History museum. It was really cool seeing someone learn about the American Civil War in depth for the first time, seeing as it has been driven into American schooling for every year of class.

Not only all of that, but I've also been taking German courses over the summer, which have been pretty intense. So unfortunately between that and work, it doesn't leave much time for freizeit. :P
That being said, I'm trying to get back into drawing more, and also pretty exciting is that I got my capture card up and running again, so I can start recording stupid videos on Xbox. Links may be included in the future.

But anyways, that's about it. I want to thank everyone again for this awesome milestone of 1000 page views! I'm extremely grateful to everyone who's taken the time to check out my page, and I hope I can continue to deliver in months to come!
