Moving

No, this isn't about websites--it's about real life! I'm preparing for a cross-country move for a new job so I can live closer to my family, and there's a lot to do in a short time o.o Getting my condo on the market, packing, actually relocating myself all the way out west, starting the new job, finding a new place to live, and all the stuff I've gotta figure out and coordinate along the way! It's scary and it's exciting and I've had all the dragons on carrying-harness training flights to make sure they're ready for the weight of my stuff once it's time to head out the door!
I mean, I guess I could ship them, too, but that'd get expensive even accounting for the fact I already have the gear to make them sit still in the back of the trucks...
In preparation for this move, I've actually managed something that hasn't been true in 8 or 9 years: I've posted all the art I've commissioned! I'm sure it'll all start stacking up again once I'm settled in and have a good idea of what my new budget will look like, but for now, the decks are cleared and it makes me wonder, what other writing projects might call to me without these illustrations obligating me to think about them... Hmmm.
Putting condo on market: complete
Packing: complete
Driving west: complete
Starting new job: complete
Selling condo: complete
Buying condo: complete
Unpacking: complete

But yeah! Great to hear things are moving forward quite literally, know I've been poking at ya here and there about it but here's hoping all the stuff you need to do goes well! :3 I know from experience moving long distances is a LOT, but I'm sure all your many dragons will help! And definitely not just be multiple tone burdens...fheheh. I hope this move does you good though, and you can feel more happy and just better in general in this new location closer to family.
Wish you the best with it alll ; v ; b and excited to see what writings come of a dragon free'd from 'obligations'! Fehehe maybe I'll get to see the light at the end of the tunnel too...somedayyy.
As for the backlog, consciously stopping myself from buying very much of it for the last couple of months since I knew the move was coming definitely helped as well...
But yes! I wish you the best despite the lack of company ; v ; I hope the various things you can find/have found to entertain you do just that and keep you out of any harm! And ya get there safe and sound with your famillyy! :3
Maybe when you are finished moving, you could be open to some fun story ideas later
Hoping for a smooth move.
I wish you good luck and warm wind for your flight into the distance <3
Moving is scary and stressful but if it is for a new job opportunity and better life it brings so much fresh air!!
Keep one step at a time to get it all sorted, expect something to go off rails (cause it always does somewhere on the pipeline) and keep those dragons preped for the trip, maybe some snacks or toys to play with during the trip :3
We will go through many snacks...
I do have an idea, but it might be a long story that takes a very long time to write...
