I've got some stories and you can read them if you want.
"He of the Trees" is a cosmic horror and mystery story, set just after the American revolution. Available in PDF and Epub.
"The Baptism is Long but the Song is Everlasting" is a queer coming of age story set in the golden age of the riverboatman. Available in PDF and Epub.
"Sing in Me, Holy One, and Through Me" is a magical realist fantasy set in a small town on the great plains frontier. Just available in PDF because programs that can export an Epub file apparently think that just because you have the rights to use a font, and have it installed, that doesn't mean you should be allowed to use it, don't be ridiculous. Seriously, using Epub as a format is a nightmare and there's no reason for it to be even a sixteenth of as much effort as it was.
“Ragnarok” is an epic, and by that I mean the poetic form. It's a fantasy adventure in iambic pentameter, with all the features that the English professors will tell you an epic is supposed to have: invocation of the muses, epic question, heroic catalog, single combat, journey to the underworld. It's the oldest thing I have here. I started it before I was out, even to myself, so there's things in there I probably would write differently now, but it took somewhere between five and ten years to finish, so it's definitely past the point of redoing those now. Available in PDF and Epub.
“The Green Night” is a mature work, for adult readers. It's a homoerotic, modern, magical realist reinterpretation of the tale of Gawain and the Green Knight. Available in PDF and Epub.
