Deflect the CCP Virus

Update: Mobile Web Browser version is more or less ready as well! However, I'm not entirely sure whether the game data (your time records and level unlocked) can persist on your computer or phone for long. Though it's just 10 levels which should last up to a maximum of few minutes each.

The CCP unleashes the CCP Virus upon the world. Here comes Hong Kong Protester-Chan to deflect the CCP Virus balls back at them with her trusty yellow umbrella...in a Pong-like arcade game!  Each level has a quota of CCP Virus balls you must deflect back at Xi Jinping to win! Miss 3 CCP Virus balls and you lose the level. Can you beat all 10 levels?

I got the idea of making this game based on a pixel art animation video I previously saw on Apple Daily's Twitter page (back in March 2020 I think). It originally had Carrie Lam instead of Xi Jinping. Apple Daily was previously around in Hong Kong as a news outlet. I wish I can find their video but now that company is gone due to the National Security Law.

I probably should have made this game during the pandemic but hey, revenge against the CCP Virus could also be served as a cold dish. 😂

The game, Deflect the CCP Virus, is available on Windows, Mac and Linux!

For Linux, the file to run is "Deflect the CCP Virus.x86_64".

(I didn't test on Mac yet.)
