Play audio during a workout on Apple Watch
On Apple Watch, you can play audio and control the volume of your Bluetooth® headphones during a workout. You can also choose a playlist to automatically play when you begin a workout.
Play audio during a workout
Go to the Workout app
on your Apple Watch.
Swipe left to the Now Playing screen to choose music.
Turn the Digital Crown to control the volume of your Bluetooth headphones.
Note: Music or other audio you’re already listening to when you begin your workout continues to play.
Choose a default workout playlist
You can choose a playlist that plays automatically when you begin a workout.
Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap My Watch, then tap Workout.
Scroll down, tap Workout Playlist, then choose a playlist.
