Use Find My widgets in Notification Center
You can add Find My widgets to Notification Center on your Mac to easily see the location of your friends and items, right from the desktop. For example, if you want to check that your friend got home safely or find a misplaced item, just click the widget to open the Find My app on your Mac.

Tip: You can add multiple Topic widgets in Notification Center—and choose a different size for each—so you can keep track of all your items and family members at once.
