Share your favorite quotes with friends, share your notes with classmates, or share information about a book with others.
Share book quotes
In the Books app
on your Mac, click Library in the toolbar, then double-click a book.
On a page, select the text or click the highlighted text that you want to quote.
A quote can include up to 200 words. Sharing is available only in the United States.
In the pop-up menu that appears (you may need to Control-click the text first), choose More, then choose Mail, Messages, or Notes.
Share book notes
In the Books app
on your Mac, click Library in the toolbar.
Double-click a book that contains notes.
Move the pointer to the top of the book, then click the Notes button
in the toolbar.
In the Notes panel, Control-click a note, then choose Mail, Messages, or Notes.
Share book information
In the Books app
on your Mac, click Library in the toolbar, then double-click a book.
Choose File > Share, then choose Mail or Messages.
Note: With text from PDFs, you can share using only Mail.
