I've read that the best place to set up a permanent base is an area called "the lost lake" or whatever. I've tamed a perrasaur(first tame ever), built a tiny shack in the starting area, have the rough hide armor equipped, and I want to set off to find this place and make it my base. What should I do next, though? ARK is really fun, but there's so much to do I don't know where to go or how I should approach the next steps....

I have like 450+ hours using PC and mouse. but I just wanted to relax and play with controller. its been 1 or 2 years since I touched ark.. I want to play it with controller this time.

i need help since i had downloaded ark with a few mods and no maps and it took 128 gigs but now when i deleted it it tells me that it requires 300 gigs i assume it wants me to also download its dlc's without me actually wanting it so i wonder how to fix this and i dont think that the amount of space that each map requares is accurately written on steam i might be wrong...

I'm playing with my friends using server manager right now, and I want to know that we go to another map. And I heard that if I move, I will lose all the items. Is there a mode where I can move freely with all the items?
