- (I) Movement. The hive directly follows the mouse.
- (II) Attacking. Click the mouse button to fire a cell towards the mouse.
- (III) Capturing. Damage an enemy enough and it'll be stunned. Collide with the stunned enemy to defeat it.
- (IV) Goal. Kill as many enemies as possible. Stay alive for as long as possible.
- (V) Loss. Lose all cells and you'll lose the run.

Fun Game! Took some time to get a feel for it, but satisfying once you do. Would like enemies to appear a bit faster, perhaps something where the enemy timer speeds up when you kill them quickly. Noticed enemies sometimes stack on top of each other when they chase the hive., so some avoidance behaviour when they are too close would be a nice touch. Keep up the good work

Love the visual style of this, it comes across incredibly well polished. You managed exactly what I wanted and failed with my submission.
Maybe I'm missing something with the gameplay though, or maybe I'm just lame, but having your cells move towards the mouse at the rate they do, plus needing to use the mouse to aim... basically just had me suiciding all my cells on the second enemy? Which was as I'm sure you can guess a bit frustrating.
Thanks for the feedback and the kind words! As goes for the semi-unique mechanics, the linked controls are meant to incentivise more careful attacks. You must position yourself a bit from the enemy, quickly aim and shoot before they have time to attack back. There are probably some variables to be tweaked there.

notes, i had to play in fullscreen cursor didnt line up for me and i personally think the timer is a bit long to get more of my guys or ammo? other than that i do like it really fun and creative take :)
Thanks for the feedback and for playing! I am aware of the struggles with the cursor and could unfortunately not fix that on time. As goes for the time of regeneration, I can see your point (especially for late-game when enemies come more frequently).
