[This game is a short solo game in the style of governmental paperwork and mental health self-assessment forms. It's about the passage of time, being afraid while waiting, and OCD. It is dedicated to stovetop clocks everywhere.

I wrote this game during the Play for Keeps class taught by Shing Yin Khor during September 2024, whose advice and guidance I am very thankful for! I am equally grateful to everyone who signed up to recieve the playtest versions. Little (or possibly nothing) has changed in this final version.

If you are unable to access the pdf due to financial hardship for any reason, please email me at tallis.clark@mail.mcgill.ca for a free copy, no questions asked.]

This is brilliant… it reminds me so much of the best kinds of video game world-building notes and audio logs. The time perception bit is such a perfect pairing with all the weird in-between waiting spaces that we find ourselves in (that we normally just drown in social media slurry).

I’d be so thrilled to play/read/watch/etc. something written in the wider setting that this suggests.
