If the game won't start:
Often there will be an error message that pops up with a really good lead, but if it refuses to start in silence, here's where to find more diagnostic information:

• Check for a file called game.log in the fleshcult folder next to the batch files that start the game.
• If you installed it with the Itch App, here's how to find that:
  • Go to the Library
    
  • Right click on Fleshcult
  • Pick 'Open folder in explorer'
• If there's nothing informative in game.log, try checking inside the game/ subfolder. See if there's a debug.log or an error.log file.

It can often really help to attach the saved game that exhibits the bug if it's something unusual not everybody sees. Here's where to find those:

• Open up Windows Explorer and paste this into the address bar: %APPDATA%\oneirolith\fc1
• The .fap files are saved games. If you sort by modified date you might be able to tell which one's your current save.
