I hope you had some fun! Thanks for all the feedback. I definitely agree about the minimap, it's the thing I shouldn't have cut production on. Lesson learned!

Thank you!

Thanks for playing!!

The theme of this game jam was to use no more than 2 buttons for gameplay, which was tricky to work around with the kind of game I wanted to make! Hopefully even losing is somewhat rewarding now and then.

I wanted to reward exploration! That's the only other hint I can give haha

I was really sad to hear a few people got that bug. The bosses had a lot of cut content, her in particular. Hopefully the game was still generally pretty fun!

I would've preferred to use WASD but the theme of the game jam was that I only got to use 2 buttons for gameplay! I still cheated with the esc key.

This game uses a lot of colliders, and it's not well suited to a webgl or android build. Very sorry! If I find a workaround I will release it.

We checked it in previous versions and it worked, but this release is having problems with scene select. I'm working on a patch right now. Thanks for letting me know!

Ver0.005 is a bug tester version which when approved became 0.006. The label may not have been updated due to the small changes done to the file. Thanks for noticing, I'll put that on my release checklist.

It's available in the story mode.

I'll run a windows 11 machine to check! Thank you.

I haven't recreated this yet, but you're not the first to tell me some strangeness happens on desktop. I'll look into it and try to patch it.

Thanks for the bug report!

Thanks for the notes! P2S is getting a big overhaul soon and I hope it'll address most of your issues with it.

Rapturous might be getting a remaster so stay tuned

Using the Knead option enough will activate a Grind option. Balance healing and damage until you can use Grind enough times, and he will choose to spare you.

There have been some delays due to a family emergency but I will be returning by the end of Summer

I need to standardize those tbh. I've held off because the game runs on phones and browsers so I was considering the best control scheme.

I believe the game does run on some phones if you open it in browser and use landscape mode

Scenes between characters tends to have a lot of variety. I hope to take in-house characters and give them multiple different scenes (Barnard definitely included!)

It's basically done on the premium version! I hope to release it all later this year. Currently revising some basic systems to make the game more fun.

Glad you liked the lil bit I've done so far!

There's an unimplemented feature that would let you use marbles to expand your merge slot count! Someday I'll come back to this, but for now I'm sitting on this project.

Glad you had fun with it! I like the new dialog system because it adds a lot of variety and opportunity to learn about the characters.

I actually have a pretty cool new particle effect for it, but unfortunately when building for the WebGL format it breaks because of how the format handles particles in browser/on phones. I'm working on a compromise.

I'm getting to a last second fix. Scene select works till then!

It's doable! I have a few ideas but I'm waiting for the right inspiration. Thanks for playing!

Sure! It took some work to get the look right but it's fairly simple once you learn the techniques.

I am using unity's bone system to deform the meshes of the sprites.

I'll be updating this consistently for a while!

So glad you are having a good time with it!

I'm glad you had some fun with it!

I find myself bouncing around a lot. I'm trying to figure out what I like, and what my audience seems to resonate with. Game development is kinda new still for me and I like the flexibility!
I do have a whole design document for this game and I want to return at some point with some fresh ideas.

Yeah absolutely if the opportunity comes up. Might be a bit though!

I do need to redo the audio UX. I feel they could be more streamlined and take up less space.

It's pretty janky but you can actually open up the game on phone browsers if you full screen it. I use a Samsung galaxy s21 (latest android update) and it works. Not sure about phone compatibility generally, though! Some people get it to work if they put it in landscape mode before clicking on the start button.
I unfortunately can't make a standalone application because these games aren't acceptable by the TOS of google play or the ios store.

I'm currently in the final stages of working on one, and I've got another mostly planned and drawn out!

Oh it's VERY on purpose. He's a good bean and I really appreciated his financial support on such an experimental project.

Kihijo is currently planned! I might bring back more cast members from BtSP since they seem so popular.
