The music is amazing, the overall aesthetic and the photographs and everything seems great; the addition of the German handwriting is absolutely stunning too. Made me smile that I could read and understand it. The story itself is also really well-put together. The characters are genuinely nuanced in ways that, if you think about a little deeper, beyond the scopes of this short game since not everything is really shown, will make you ache. You're gonna have to click everywhere, but the little details make it worth the time exploring. They add onto the experience, as well as the characters of Gerda, Joseph and more. The fact your choices directly impact what kind of ending you get is also really nice for this type of game.
Spoilers: Like when you choose to believe Joseph every time, the option to leave him disappears. The only choice that makes Gerda suspicious enough to leave Joseph, regardless of whether she believes his other lies or not, is the fact he owns a gun when it's illegal. It's such a nice addition to how she really can't excuse every single one of his claims, or lies in this case, even though she seems terrified to actually confront him on it all.
Stellar game; loved every second of it!
