Thanks so much for playing and leaving such a kind comment.

Thanks, I played your game again there and it makes alot more sense now. Overall great game.

Thanks for playing my game. I agree that the game was definetly to difficult, especially some of the later waves. Your right there could have been some more ways to regain health as scrapping parts did not give that much back to the player. Maybe I could have made it so that in the later waves scrapping gave more health.

Really enjoyed this game. The concept is simple but its executed very well and its alot of fun. The visuals and music are great and fit the game well. I also think the menus and ui are nice, clean and not to complex. Although the close button on the level select screen does not seem to do anything.

Love the main menu and the artsyle!

Hey thanks for trying out one of my older games! Looking back on it now it seems crap but maybe one day i'll come back and fix it up and add some more content to it.

Thanks for playing!

I definetly agree that the enemies should have probaly been different also I think the enemies projectiles should also have been a different color/shape.

I was struggling a bit with implementing the player shooting because I wanted the player to shoot towards the mouse and not have both arms shoot past the mouse. However that led the player to being able to shoot bullets sideways so I just done a dirty fix of not allowing the player to shoot their weapons if the mouse is over or behind the weapons. Not sure if i'm going to keep working on the game but if I do i'll try and put a better system in place.

Hey thats great! I'll have to play it again once you release the updated version

Cool game! Really liked how you implemented the theme. The visuals were great and I also liked how you recorded some voice lines instead of justing putting subtitles definetly made the game.

I feel you on the burnout this was my first time doing a week long jam and it can be hard keeping the motivation for a whole week so fair play on finishing its a great game and you can tell you put a lot of work into it.

Great game! Loved the artstyle and music felt very polished.

Great game! Really liked the visuals and the spirit that talks/guides you.

I just played your game there and its great I really like the concept and its a great implemetaion of the theme. The visuals, music and sounds are perfect and really make the game. Also the game is very polished for a jam game which is very impressive. Definetly one of the best games I have played from the jam so far and I can definetly see you winning it! Keep up the great work

Thanks for playing the game! I've yet to play your game but i'll give it a shot now.

Great game! Congrats on finishing your first game jam I know it can be difficult.

Great game! Didn't even know these kind of games were possible to make in Scratch I've only messed around in it a few times and was never able to create anything nearly as impressive as you have. The visuals were great and the screen effect whenever you broke those pipe/walls was really cool. I also think this is one of the best if not the best implementation of the theme. However the special object does feel like it was put in just to have it not really for a good reason but sure thats understandable it was a weird special object for sure.

Music/Sound Effects were great and I love that you went through and recorded your voice for the presenter that was a great touch and it really made the game.

I will say that the game is buggy and glitchy but thats probaly more Scratch's fault than it is yours. Overall a very good solid game.

Good game! I really liked your idea and you implemented the theme and special object quite well. A tutorial would have been great even just a few sentences on the itch game page would do.

Great game probaly the best implementation of the special object I have seen so far. The visuals are great to love the unique style. I found the game very difficult but I have to say it was fair enough and I wasnt getting scrapped due to bugs/glitches constantly.

Hey I just played your game their (it might just be me but I found the game very confusing) I really dont know whats happening or what Im meant to do. Not sure why the buttons there and why your not meant to press it. I was pressing space and things were happening but I'm not really sure what is it some kind of turn based combat? The visuals and music are interesting to say the least although I like how they give the game a very distinct and unique style.

Loved the game was great fun and visuals and sound were good and fit the game well. Also theme and special object were implemeted well.

Nice game really enjoyed my time with and think you done a great job implementing the theme and special object. Visuals were great and fit the vibe of the game well the same can be said for the music. I do wish there was music on the main menu to and also I found the car a bit stiff to handle however overall great game!

Its a shame you could not finish I know it can be hard to find time for a game jam but at least you done a bit and uploaded it :)

Explosive gambling what more can I say :)

Hey I just played your game there and its great! I really loved the artstyle and choosing to stick to an all red color pallete was a great choice it truly highlights the rage/violence of the game. The music and sound effects were great too, alot of people tend to completly ignore sound in game jams when it can really help elevate the experience.

Your implementation of the theme and special object were great aswell. I feel like I and many others kind of just took the lazy way out with the whole DONT DIE thing but you actually put a fairly interesting twist on the theme.

At the start I was a bit confused because I thought that the rage bar was your health and I was wondering why I kept losing health (ya I know im not the smartest). But maybe you could have labeled it rage or put a rage symbol.

I also found the combat to be slighlty confusing/difficult (this could very well just be a skill issue). I assumed that the idea was to try and watch the enemies and not go near them if they were winding up a punch and to then strike them right afterwards. But this didnt seem to work (sometimes) . I'm probaly just missing something so feel free to tell me if I'm just stupid.

A tutorial would have really helped solve the problem I was having but thats very hard during a jam when time is so limited (and I really can't say anything as I didn't have a tutorial either). Thanks for putting the tutorial on the itch game page that really helped and I wish more people would do it.

Also your cover image is great and really stands out from the rest of the games in the jam. I also appreciate that you but a bit of effort into your itch game page as most games I've played so far this jam have next to nothing on theirs.

Overall really great game I definetly think your onto something here and with some tweaking and polish I can see it being a full game.

I just played your game their and its great by far the best game I've played yet from this jam. The gameplay is simple yet fun, the music and sound effects fit nicely (freesound community be carrying my games to), the visuals are great they all fit together well and suit the style of the game. The UI is also great its intuitive and doesnt get in the way which is impressive and its something I struggle with quite a bit. I like how you implemented the theme and the special object aswell.

The itch page was well put together which is something I always appreciate as alot of people dont put effort if any at all into their pages for game jams.

Although I did come across some bugs/unfinished systems. Sometimes the gems would get stuck on the wall on the righthand side of the game. Its not a big deal though and its something that can easily be fixed. Also Im assuming its just because you ran out of time but I was able to buy all the upgrades at the start of the game. I even tried realoading the game but that didn't fix it so I'm assuming its not a bug.

Overall I think it was a very unique idea and its not like anything I have played so far I can definetly see this as a fun mobile game with a bit of polish and improvment.

Great game! You done a great job implementing the theme and also the special object so well together. I really liked the main mechanic of the game it felt like Hill Climb Racing mixed with Totally Reliable Delivery Service. However I will say that it felt very random sometimes how the boxes would would react to bumps and jumps and you kind of just had to hope and pray that the boxes would play nice. Also I started with trying to be really careful and would try to plan and take it easy going over every hill and bump. However it felt like sometimes it was a better strategy to just floor it to the end. So the player wasn't really rewarded for taking it easy and planning carefully.

I also wish you would have been able to zoom in and out as I wasn't able to see my second trailer fully so I was kind of just hoping that the boxes were behaving back there although I really wasn't able to tell. Obviously some music and sound effects would have really tied the game together although I know it can be hard to find time for everything in a game jam.

Overall great game and it has plenty of potential to be expanded upon. It would be cool if you could upgrade your engine, tires and trailers. If there was other types of terrain like mud, sand or snow. Also I know this is very different from you have made but it would be cool to have to create your own vehicle like in Bad Piggies and use it to deliver the crates throughout the level.

Hey just played your game there and you done a great job even though yo were saying that you didnt get much time. I feel like you implemented the special object in a very unique way which is impressive seen as it was a unsual special object. The game could have done with some music and sound effects to really tie it together however its understandable that time is limited in a jam and you have to prioritize other things such as coding, desinging and art. Also for me at the start the story/tutorial seemed to be cut off making it difficult to read the text. That might just have been an issue on my end though so no worries.

Great game you all done a great job for this being your first game (you certainly done better than me when I joined my first jam). The atmosphere was on point and so were the sound effects and ambience. The enemys could have done with a bit of improvment for me being able to hear them coming kind of took away from the horror aspect of the game and they always seemed to come at you from the front so they were not to bad to deal with. Overall great game with the potential to be something even greater.

Thanks for playing the game! There actually was a sound effect for when the player took damage but I think it was probaly to low to even notice. I definetly agree that there should have been sound effects for the enemys taking hits aswell. I added the sound effects and music last and rushed to get it finished so I didn't but as much thought into it as I should have. Thanks again for playing and leaving a comment :)

Thanks for playing my game and leaving such a kind and helpful review! Since I made the game for a jam I don't plan to return to the project it was more for a bit of fun and a learning experience. However if I ever to return to the game I will definitely add the features you suggested. I wanted to add more during the jam but ultimately I ran out of time and could not add everything I had hoped to add.

As for your problem with the full breakfast I'm not sure exactly its been a while since I worked on the game but I do remember there being problems with a few recipes.

Once again thanks for playing my game and leaving a review it means a lot :)

Nice! Loved the art style.

The game seemed like it was very interesting although I didn't have a clue how to play it. Some kind of tutorial would have been nice or even just a guide in the description. The art style and music were great!

Loved the game! Would have loved if there was music and sound effects though. The pixel art was great. Also a better system for searching for items would be nice as sometimes I just want to browse through ingredients to see what's possible and don't want to search for something specific.

Great game! Love the idea, however I wish the recipes you cook didn't just raise stats but each had there own cool mechanics. The art, sound effects and music were all great.

A few bugs I found were: that the music didn't restart once it finished playing and full screen cut-off the top and bottom of the screen.

A tutorial would have been nice as it was hard to understand what everything done starting off. Also wish hovering over options in menu showed what they done as even though the icons were fine a small description would have helped.

All in all cool game though and cant wait to see were it goes.

Great game! Loved how you turned a typing game into a fun roguelike.

Great game! The art, music, sound effects and gameplay were great.

Loved the powerups they were all unique and added a lot to the gameplay. Not just your usual extra health or more damage powerups that have become the normal for endless shooters.

The main menu was very cool. The music was very fitting and having to break the buttons to select them.

One thing I would have liked was if the character was faster. Would have gave the player more control and made the game feel more fast paced. There might have been an unlock that allowed the player to become faster but I never came across it.

All in all great game for a weeks work. Keep up the hard work!

Thanks so much for playing and the high praise!

Thanks so much for playing the game and all the great feedback!

There was a very annoying bug that I couldn't manage to fix during the jam were the frying, boiling, chopping or merging items created 2 items and then that messed with your mouse and picking up and placing things. A few people have said that the error sound effect was annoying, that there was to much reading at the start and that the recipes should be in the guidebook so if I get time ill see what I can to do improve these.

Hopefully after the jam ill get an update out soon. Thanks again for all the feedback.

Thanks for playing and for all the feedback! I wanted to add the recipes to the guidebook but ran out of time, so I ended up just putting them on the itch page. The cheeseburger sprite seems to be broken. Hopefully, if I get some free time after the jam, ill fix up the bugs and release an update. I'll see what I can do to try and lessen the amount of reading and maybe find a better sound for the error noise. Thanks again for playing and the follow.
