I'm glad you liked it, thanks for playing!

Aw thank you for the kind words, I really wanted to make something thats fun to play, im happy this seems to be the case

It's a shame you didn't have the time to complete this one. I love the feel of walking through a Nagai painting. It may be a simple demo, but the aesthetic carries it hard.

I love the music you choose for this, also the papers please part of it could be a whole game in on itself lol

The ending was lovely; it really got a smile out of me. Besides, I love the 3D environment, the terrain may be simplish, but it evokes some real nostalgia for old games. Overall, this game's got a lot of atmosphere, loved playing through it!

Yes, I realized it was a bit hard to 'get' once I finished, but I really uploaded this and fell asleep hahaha
I'll update the itch.io page with some explanation on how everything works today. (Edit: Added a help button in-game for now)

Clicking the agent guys just gets rid of them at the start of the game (and you want to do that cause they increase your heat if you let them pass), the other things generate half a thunder of energy when you click them.

And the load balancer, yes it's a bit of a weird little dude, it is kind of hard to explain what it does exactly. It produces a lot of heat and stores a fixed amount of energy, kind of like a self-powered thermal generator. I think it's easier to just give an example:

One server:
You've got one server. It's a hungry little critter that eats up 2 energy units every cycle to stay active. If you introduce a balancer into this setup, it cuts its energy consumption by 2 units. Now, your server is running free - not consuming any extra energy!

Two servers, one balancer:
If you add another server into the mix, your balancer now has two servers to look after. The balancer gives its all to one server, reducing its consumption by 2 units, making it free to run but has nothing left for the second server, which still needs its 2 units of energy to operate.

Three servers, two balancers:

You've got 2 balancers and 3 servers set-up. The balancers manage to reduce the energy consumption of two servers completely (each cuts down 2 units, making those servers run on air). And because they’re so efficient, every second cycle, they've saved up enough energy (1 unit from each balancer) to also cover the energy needs of the third server, giving it a 2-unit reduction and allowing it to operate for free every so often.

And thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it!

I had to stop at level 41 'cause browser started to slow down, nice game :)

Sadly I can't run this one on my old computer.

The way the characters are written is so silly, I love it, the whole game feels like one of those old flash games about building up your character.
The duality between the dungeon gameplay and the real world gameplay was also really nice, what to say, it's a fun game.

Sadly this game will not run on my old 9500GT

Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, indeed the game has some huge balancing problems, I hope to address them in the future, thanks for playing!

Oh dear indeed, the ending was really rushed. The last day I realized I was biting more than i could chew, so i had to 'condense' the game into a single map.
I like how it turned out so after the jam is done, I hope to update it so it has three maps and three bosses like it's meant to have. (as well as traps, puzzles, etc)

Grandpa on a wheelchair catching crabs in the red brick dungeon. The movement is slow, but the crabs are lovely.

I love the aesthetic, and the sound design!

The battles are a bit repetitive and drag for a bit too long, but besides that, it's a great game!

Poor cratos, the crate, he hungers every second, unable to move.
I really like the speed aspect of this game, even though it ended up making me dizzy.

My fingers hurt from pressing up arrow key, I love it.

I like all the interaction options it has, it was an ambitious project for a week Only feedback is, the mate on the textures is way too close so it's hard to make out things in the dark areas, and in the inventory Also it's a bit confusing how the S key turns your character 180c° instead of stepping back, but hey great job, I love the concept and the game in general, even if obviously an early iteration is pretty fun

I really like the idea, and the gameplay, sadly the PC moves way too slow.

This one was really short, but it's really fun too!

The movement is very snappy tho, it can be confusing.

This is quite a fun puzzle game, it might be confusing at first, but honestly, I love it.

Awesomesauce
Great job on this game, visuals, music, gameplay, it's all great, I love it!

'The bandit' I'm sleepy so I accidentally selected that 'cause 'Labyrinth of Umbra' was just not showing up in the list. Is it submitted?

What to do now
