thanks for playing, glad you liked it! :)

thanks for playing! :)

thanks for playing!! :)

thanks, glad you like it!

Would you possibly be able to elaborate on what you found confusing about the guards? I tried to make them as understandable as possible for the player, but I'd love to know what can be improved

thank you so much for playing!!

This is a very fun and creative puzzle-platformer! The pixel art graphics are very nice, and the levels are well put-together.

Some constructive criticism:

-The visual design of each robot should communicate how it controls much more clearly. For example, if a robot jumps higher it could have springy legs, a robot that moves faster could have wheels, etc

-Maneuvering one robot onto a button while keeping another close enough to switch to can be frustrating, due to the small radius allowed for switching. Maybe the levels involving buttons could be designed to let the player carry robots on each other's heads more easily? Or maybe it could be changed so you can switch to any robot as long as there's a direct line of sight between them?

-Arrow keys + Space is an awkward control scheme. A and D to move and Space to jump would probably feel more natural

-The game in general could be a lot snappier. Switching between robots should be much quicker (ideally instantly, or in just a couple of frames) and the robots in general could be a little faster (some of them feel fun to move around as, but others just feel kinda sluggish.) Also, waiting for the animation of the computer lighting up at the beginning of each level slows the pace down a bit. It would be nicer if you could just press enter right away to start each level

Cool concept, but I think it's too difficult to figure out what to do at the moment, and it could use some more polish

Super fun!

GRR

other people have made sequels, but I haven't and won't

thank you! :)

thank you for playing and streaming it!! :)

haha, that actually was a deliberate reference, I'm glad someone caught it. Thanks for playing :)

thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!!

Thank you so much! More ways to distract the guards is a good idea, we just didn't have time to implement much more unfortunately. As it is, the best way to distract them is to make a noise in the dark and then sneak away. Thanks for playing!

thanks for playing!!

i'm right here, just got burnt out on making games for now, and life stuff got in the way :(

I assume you're talking about the screenshot, in which case it sounds like the webgl thing just isn't loading for you. Maybe try a desktop/laptop? I don't know what your device is but I don't think it will work on a tablet anyway

I'm not sure

Earthbound Onett theme

thank you for playing and streaming it, I'm glad you liked it! :)

I was just wondering

what even is marsageddon

It should be WASD to move then. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure why that could be happening, sorry

do you maybe need to click through the dialogue first?

it's from 2020 though

I don't think I ever thought about it that deeply

go to add friend and type "kypello" and it should come up with my account

sure, maybe add me on discord and I can send you the file

thanks! :)

damn, that is way darker than I intended

I think they did ask and I gave them permission, but it was a while ago so I don't really remember

lol thanks for playing

I think I might work on this one for day 4

thank you so much for playing!! sorry you found it too much to remember at once, I am planning to add some kind of in-game notebook to make it easier hopefully. Also glad someone picked up on the grim fandango inspiration :)

ok good to know! I will give it another go and try and figure it out

This is a very nice game!! I love the pixel art graphics and the levels are well-designed for the most part. The final(?) level seems to be one sign short, but I did also find an alternate way to finish the game. I'm curious if it's possible to finish that level for real?

A few nitpicks: I think the signs should stay after you restart, allowing you to adjust them instead of redoing it all from scratch when you mess up. Also the multiple-cameras thing seems a little unnecessary, and makes it hard to know where the screens connect to each other at a glance, why not just make one big map where you can pan around?

Overall a cool entry!!
