When you connect your Patreon account to itch.io and add the Patreon version of the game to your library, it’s considered as owning a copy by itch.

When you play the game through itch client, the Patreon version will check if you own the game in the library or not, and if you do, then you will be able to play. As long as the game is in your itch library, you’ll still have access to it even after you stop supporting us on Patreon.

Thank you for your kind words! I hope you’ll enjoy the full version as well, as there’s more stuff for you to do in it.

As for the mac version, if you download the game through itch.io client, you should be able to play it without an issue. The problem with newer macOS versions is that they won’t let you run an executable that hasn’t been signed, and an unarchiver application will say that the file is broken. There is no way for us to sign the game due to its nature, so there isn’t much we can do, afaik.

The end of 2014 was when we first started Patreon. Before that we were posting reports on blogspot which were publicly available as well. I’ve just checked again and there were 66 posts in 2015 alone, mostly because we released two reports per month (and in two languages). Maybe Patreon worked differently back then and hid the posts from non-member? If that’s the case then I’m glad it’s not like that anymore.

Still, though, even when people missed stuff in 2015, we were more active on Twitter and other social media sites back then. We always made a new post when there was a build, pretty much every year. It’s really hard to imagine why people would think that the game is dead or we have stopped working on the game. We got too many messages on these social media sites for a small team such as ours, and we had to shift our time to focus on working on the game and sites such as itch, Patreon and our forum instead.

Yes, as MarloweC said, you shouldn’t even be able to start Chapter 3. The current public version should play the teaser video at the beginning of chapter 3 and send you back to the title. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone running into this bug, as I don’t think I’ve updated the public version with anything new that would change that.

If more people run into this issue, then I’ll look into it. But as you said, it is not of high priority right now.

The latest one aren’t but the old ones should all be publicly available. They are set to be publicly available after 90 days. There is never a year of zero post, as we post a report pretty much every month. I’ve just checked by looking at the patreon without logging into the site, and I can still see posts from as far as 2019.

Even when the posts are for members only, they should still show up with a button says “Join to unlock” or something similar, which should indicate that there is something active going on.

We have a Twitter account, but currently we only release progress reports on our Patreon. You can read it as soon as possible if you’re a supporter. Otherwise, the report will become publicly available after 90 days.

No, we have never stopped working on the game. There are progress reports every month, and they are even available to the public.

I’ll never understand how such rumour is spread when anyone can just google the game’s name, see the patreon on the search result, and see that there’s always new report update every month on it.

Please follow the instructions on Patreon. You have to add the game to your library as well.

There is no discord at the moment, as we do not have resources to manage it. We’d rather focus on working on the game right now.

- Punipen

The game should work if you install itch client, then download and play the game through the client. Otherwise you’ll have to find an unarchiver app that allows an unsigned application to be extracted without damaging it.

It’s all different for each enemy. You’ll get to see them in the monster compendium feature we’ll add in future updates.

- Punipen

Thanks for letting us know. We’ll address this in future patches.

When the game is finished. There’s no plan to update the android build with new chapters for now.

- Punipen

Thank you for your kind words! We hope you’ll like the full game!

In the full version, will it be possible to choose a different character besides Volga?

For now, no. In the future, we might add characters with their own campaigns, but it might be better to create their own standalone games to tell their stories.

Will there be an option to choose both starting magic types instead of Ice plus another?

No, as ice is one of his main elements due to story reason.

Will Light and Dark become starting options instead of only unlocking later?

It’s not in the plan, but it might be interesting as a newgame+ thing. We’ll think about it more later.

- Punipen

For now, there won’t be any until the game’s finished.

- Punipen

Thank you for your support! We’re doing our best to release the game as soon as possible.

- Punipen

We don’t have one right now but we might make one in the future.

- Punipen

We’ve just tested it and the download still works without an issue. It’s possible that itch’s server had an issue during the time you were trying to download the game though.

Some sidequests won’t trigger if it’s not during an intermission. We’ll make it clearer in the future. As for Annoying Slime quest, I think that’s the first we’ve heard of that bug. If you can send us the save file to dudedle.studio(a)gmail.com that would really help.
