There was also supposed to be a leaderboard and points section to accompany the shop. The shop would have been similar to cookie clickers, as the more points you get, the more upgrades you could get. I didn't put too much thought into it because I wanted my game to be playable, so I'll figure out more to do with the shop after the voting period. Thanks for playing!

Yeah, I didn't have the time to put a shop in, as I had to redo my whole submission halfway through the week. I can see if I can make a web build after the voting period. Thanks for playing!

Hello! I have played a couple of playthroughs. I think this game is cute! I assume the shortness of the game is due to the time limit, so I won't budge for that. I do like the art style, as it feels like everything in the game belonged together to create this game. My only suggestion is to maybe make the game a bit longer or have multiple days where each gets harder after the voting period. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hey! I played 4 playthroughs of this. For 3 of them, I died during night 1 due to the campfire burning out, and I lived to see the house on the 4 one because it was near the campfire and realized it before the place went dark... so days survived is probably 0, but I do enjoy it. I love the effects of day and night against the fire, as it helps make it feel like the fire is warm. I have a few suggestions (whether you add them or not after the voting period doesn't matter to me. Either way, your game was enjoyable and I felt like I was progressing through something.):

  • Add a key bind setting.
  • Maybe add some sounds playing in the background (and maybe a volume setting).
  • Add another log maybe? I don't know if it's just because I'm garbage, but I can't seem to get through the night with 4 logs max.

If you spent the time reading this, thanks for reading! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!
