You run around and pet buns. It's an absolute joy.

Playing this game in openSUSE, I had to do a bit of command line tomfoolery. I was getting an error about libcurl-gnutls.so when trying to run from the command line.

The solution was to run this:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/libcurl.so.4 /usr/lib64/libcurl-gnutls.so.4

The game booted right up and played like a dream afterwards.

EDIT: It looks like the Studio Nevermore has found out about the problems regarding the newest Linux build of the game. I just wanted to report that the Windows version works very well with Proton 4.11, but hopefully the native Linux build will work soon!

I'm usually not a fan of "shmups", but I'm sold on this one. At no point is this game simply overwhelming or simply "unfair." It's smooth, well-crafted, and, most importantly, learnable.

Is there such a thing as the "anti-RPG"? If so, it's Facets. Facets is an extremely well-made game with interesting mechanics. Despite there being only 10 "boss" fights, they all feel unique. The story is gripping and is, well, a lot to take in... please take breaks if you need them. John Thyer, with his experience playing RPGs and his attention to detail, absolutely nailed what he set out to do: this is the gesamtkunstwerk of his storytelling prowess and his aptitude for RPG Maker. I look forward to more content like this from this developer.
