i found this to be very effective in a way that previous attempts didn't always manage to obtain!! very incredible and clever use of the medium IMO.
i was a little surprised at the brevity of the count-up; normally with pre-recorded material i'm used to a little more chatter and gradular walk through stages, but i also don't want to call that a major complaint. just differing style/preference maybe 🙂
my gf passed me a copy of one of your books and i'm also eager to reference the analysis you did here after going through that game, so i tried to leave a reasonable consideration 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️ thank you very much for your work!!
friggin NAILED the game theme holy cow. i didnt start messaging people until a couple days in but i also didn't manage to win before bed, so i'm excited to revisit the characters from the start. the writing is top notch and the loop is fun, feels like i'm playing cook serve delicious and it's a very clever way to shape encounters given the adversaries being as fast as they are and the overall time limit for the game prototype. incredible package, really excited to poke at this some more. amazing job, team!!
