Use of the limitation
There is a secret area that awards the player with a little accessory if they find it. There are collectables around the map and some are hidden behind other objects. If all secrets are found then a secret "end screen" becomes accessible.

It's a pretty chill game, it just needs something more to engage to player I feel, such as story or overarching narrative. Something that could answer the questions of "Why are we collecting scribbles?" or "Why are we in a world made out of paper covered in filler text?".

Also, when you press the return button in the friend pit, every time you jump it places you next to the pit again.

It really is a simple platformer.

But its ok.

I wanted more of it. :)  The "helpful" notes along the way brought a smile to my face.  Definitely one of my favorites so far.

I like the vibe curated here, but as you say not much going on, a bit generic as platformers go. Cute!

A cute and wholesome game, the scribble gathering is very cool. Technically a platformer, but more of a walking simulator, there could stuff like boats, it would be cool, maybe the text guy talks with you while you're waiting on the boat.

Overall, great job! One of the best games of the jam.
