Just to nitpick, not being able to climb up and down with the W and S keys felt a little counterintuitive to me at first, although that is not even necessarily a bad thing. Now, the critique aside, I loved it. The overall controls, the environment, and the animations were really good. Great work!

that's rather nice, the controls feel nice, I especially like the cape gliding thing, though I'm not sure where I got it. The game could probably benefit from a bit more spacing out of the upgrades and more time with every given mechanic (falling platforms, goombas, bullit bills) but I get that you only got so much time for level design. You got the basics down well.
Yes definitely I would do that if I had more time. I just realized I have not finished your game and it felt very cool and hard, I could not make that one huge jump and stop my ball after that, but now I will try again!

My opinion : (purely subjective, if you want feedback)
- The art is nice even if its not contrasting very well wih the background.
- And the flashlight in the night, with the reward screen lmao
