It's fun, but it was difficult for me to recognise when I was hitting the ball and when I wasn't. With a bit of polish, it's certainly a fantastic thing.
This was fun and frustrating at the same time, you have to be able to keep up with thinking about where you want to target, where you need to move to and when to hit the ball, all at the same time, using a combination of the keyboard and the mouse. I think it might play better with a controller.
That being said, the graphics were pretty good, and made the game look fun. The mechanics of the rat and the bat add to the complexity, but with everything else to focus on I pretty much ignored them.
Thanks for the game.
AHHH, HOW BEAUTIFUL!! I like your idea and implementation!! good luck
Looks like really cool idea, but unfortunatelly I find it very hard to hit the ball. But very solid entry for a gameJam. good job
Thanks for you feedback. I didn't expect that the learning curve of this game would be that long. After playing and testing the game so much I find very easy, but I cleary understand that there is some difficulty at the begining because of the ball's trajectory curve not being perfectly smooth (purposely) and the camera perspective view. By the way, every time the ball is throw to you a green mark is shown where the ball hits, you can use this marking as a reference if you're not already using it. Another tip is to hit the ball only when its height is below the character's head.
I know all of what you mentioned. I have to admit that I tried it again and it feels bit better when playing in fullscreen :) Nevertheless I believe it will be also just my skill issue, the game you created is great!
it was a good game
I really liked the graphics and the very relationship between ping pong and the theme of poison) Thanks for the game!
I love the idea and the music. In match with great art style whole game creates great project. I found the timing to hit the ball a bit challenging but it's probably a skill issue...
Good luck!!!

Really good graphics, it's fun but kinda hard to see where the ball will land sometimes, nice work overall
Thanks your feedback. The ball will always land on a green mark that appears after the opponent throw the ball. But rats leave the same green marks intentionally to confuse the player.
Sorry, I wanted to show your game some love but I won't download and run random executables. Consider making your games playable in the browser to reach a wider audience!
Hey, thanks for the advice, I just upload a web version. Hope you enjoy the game!
Graphics and game is amazing. Super work.

The game's art is beautiful, and the sounds are very immersive. But I think it's strange to bounce the ball back, and sometimes the game glitches and needs to be restarted, but the game is amazing.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I am aware of this bug, sometimes the game stucks in the player's serve and you can't hit the ball. There is a problem with the colliders. You can click in the return button on the tire and restart the match. Unfortunately I noticed the bug after I had submitted it. I will fix that in the next update!
Congratulations, it turned out amazing!
Amazing art and fun gameplay! Thank you for taking part in Coco Code GameJam :)
I do appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
Love the art in this one. Also "ping poison" makes a great name
Thanks!
