Many thanks to #harshad #2278 for getting the ball rolling on this

Here is a little html journal keeping applet.

1. Choose date or use default current date
2. Enter note title in input field and select Category. from drop-down
3. Click Submit
4. A note is created and opens on a blank page for further additions (optional). Because file names can be up to 200 characters or longer, they can often suffice as notes in themselves)
5. Important -- because the state is in View mode the Edit mode must be toggled to create the document's content. (anyone know how to force Markor to switch to Edit mode dynamically and seed the document?)
6. With respect to above, Markor will auto save only after content is in the document. Accordingly, if no further content creation is required simply type a character or better yet insert the date with action button at bottom
7. The phone's back button returns to the calendar screen.
8. Click the Folder icon to quicky return to the respective Category screen to confirm the file was created.
9. Use the Folder icon and Category drop-down to browse through the list of Categories.
10. Reset returns to current date and clears input field.

Hmm. I have my default mode set to edit. My applet I set to view mode and then exit. When I launch a note via the applet it opens the new note in edit mode (the default).

Thanks! Staying in the default Edit mode (settings) solves indeed the toggle issue (one less move). But content must still be created before the document is saved and you exit (phone back button). Trivial, really..just type a character or add the date via action button, or otherwise write your novel -- then exit.

I've created a shortcut to the applet on my home screen -- very handy! It does indeed open in VIEW mode and upon Submit the note document opens in Edit mode.
