Beginning Modern JavaScript Development with Microservices WebRTC and React [eLearning]

This end-to-end course will provide you with all the skills you need to get started with modern web application development in the current JavaScript ecosystem.

What you will learn

  • Build and deploy microservices with Seneca
  • Use WebRTC APIs and the WebSocket protocol for real-time, browser-based video communication
  • Utilize the Bacon.js library for both server-side and front-end development
  • Understand advanced functional programming
  • Have hands-on, working knowledge of Bootstrap 4 6. Build an example application UI with React and Flux

Hardware requirements

For an optimal student experience, we recommend the following hardware configuration:

  • Intel Core i3 processor or equivalent
  • 2 GB RAM (1.5GB if running on a virtual machine)
  • 10 GB available hard disk space
  • 5400 RPM hard disk drive
  • DirectX 9-capable video card (1024 x 768 or higher resolution)

Software requirements

You’ll need the Windows 8 or higher (64-bit version) to run the code for this course.
