Lock screen not working

Hi,

When using SEB Service the lock screen does not work anymore.

How to reproduce:

1. Open the Configuration Tool.
2. In the Security tab uncheck "Ignore SEB Service". (which SEB Service Policy does not matter)
3. In the Registry tab check "Enable Lock the computer".
4. Save the configuration.
5. Start the SEB with the configuration.
6. Use Ctr+Alt+Del to access Windows Security Screen.
7. Click on Lock.
8. Log into account again.
9. No lock screen appears.

When checking "Ignore SEB Service" you can also use "Lock" in the Windows Security Screen and after logging in again the lock screen appears.
Is this behavior intended or is this a bug?

Tested with SEB Version 3.8.0.742. I will provide logs and config files in the next post.

Yes of course, if you allow the users to lock their computer, then the lock screen will not be activated.

Makes sense. I couldn't find specific information when the lock screen applies and was unsure about it.

One other thing. Does the lock screen apply when a machine was restarted via power button and then SEB gets started again?

Yes, if your session is a secure session (i.e. has a quit password set), then a lock screen will be activated if a user does not correctly resp. normally terminate SEB and subsequently tries to restart the same exam / configuration.
