I finally got to trying this after having it saved for months. It's definitely a stand-out entry.

Some of the sound effects felt odd, but that's the only flaw in the presentation I can think of. The mixed graphics styles weirdly seem to work. It looks good overall.

I'm not sure if picking different options doesn't matter, or if I just got lucky, since every approach seemed to be effective.

I did not get far, though. I struggle with bullet hells to begin with, and the difficulty ramp was just too much. I could manage the first two avoidance stages, but the third with combined attacks was just too much.

Healing feels pointless, since you have to do the same avoidance stage as far as I can tell, and you don't gain enough health from it to catch up if you're falling behind.

Between the avoidance stages, negotiation mechanic, and overall themes it feels reminiscent of Undertale. I wasn't personally a fan of the gameplay, but I think it's a strong combination. The description hints at further depths, but I didn't get far enough to see them.

Thank you very much for the comment :D, I'm glad to know that even today there are people who play this game, the truth is that the game is somewhat broken and has many imperfections partly due to the time of the Jam, but the feedback is appreciated, if someday I decide to retake the game this will be taken into account.

Great story with nicely done narrative/platforming battles, and lovely visuals and sound.

This is my favorite mggj entry so far!! I love the concept and it's so well-executed. The music was really nice and unobtrusive and added to the atmosphere. I liked the alternating between the dialog options and the platformer. One small thing is there's an issue with hovering the mouse over the "new game" "continue" etc buttons if I'm not in fullscreen, the game thinks the mouse is in the wrong place. Overall really nice job!! :)

thanks for the comment and for reporting the bug, I thought I had it fixed, I'll look into it, I really appreciate it! :D

Post: I played your game before this comment and know that you had my 5 stars in aesthetics <3 (don't tell anyone).

i really liked it! the art is cool!

Love the premise for the game!

Feels like Undertale, but with Magical girls!

Also, it's a nice touch to see the Magical girls become more demonic/ monstrous as you battle them.

It becomes a lot more manageable as you start to remember the correct answers to the fights. XD

Also, I like that as the different phases went on, more music + instruments were added to the track.

Great work on this!

thank you it is an honor to receive this comment from you <3
